The gap in current defences

Blockchains depend on public-key cryptography that quantum computers are expected to break, and they face a parallel wave of AI-automated attacks operating at machine speed. The defences available today are fragmented: they measure exposure, audit cryptography, or react after an attack has succeeded, but they do not unify these signals or act in real time within the network's own machinery.

No widely available system unifies cryptographic, network, behavioural and physical-hardware signals into a single live measure and acts on it across signing, settlement and consensus processes.

The QABRE approach

QABRE continuously computes a live resilience score for the entities that make up a blockchain network — validators, wallets, transactions and signing devices — by combining cryptographic, network, behavioural and physical-hardware signals.

It then uses that score to take protective action automatically: most importantly, by removing a compromised validator from consensus before it can sign a malicious block, rather than penalising it afterwards.
